Concert at the Homestead

The final Sunset Concert Series on the Wadsworth Homestead featuring Dirty Blanket will start Sep. 21st, 5PM. Dirty Blanket combine an array of classic bluegrass and jam band music with influences from Hot Rize to the Grateful Dead, bringing high-energy original sets of progressive Americana music to live audiences across the American Northeast! Tickets are $10 per adult and kids under 12 are free! Bring the whole family, lawn chairs, and make a night out of our final Sunset Concert this year.

 

Geneseo Farmer’s Market

Nothing says Fall like a local farmers market! Fresh produce, homemade baked goods, home canning, handcrafted health and beauty items, crafts, and plants are available here every Thursday in the fall season from 3-6:30 PM . For a small market, there’s something for everyone here, and plenty of seasonal treats!

 

The National Warplane Museum

Experience a thrilling ride in a historic relic or explore the military aircrafts and artifacts at The National Warplane Museum! This hidden gem showcases antique warbirds and classic airplanes, with aviation flights available from their grass strip runway. From thrill seekers to history buffs, the Museum is a great activity option for all!

Coming Soon: Whiskey 7’s 80th Birthday Bash!

Join the all day celebration in honor of the Whiskey 7 plane on Sept. 23rd, 9 AM- 10 PM. There will be dancing, jazz, exhibits, and dinner! Tickets are to be purchased on their website.

 

The Letchworth Arts & Craft Show

Stop by this Community Craft Fair just 5 miles away from Letchworth State Park October 7th-9th. This event will host over 250 art & craft vendors from October 7th- 9th 10-5 PM. For the Past 46 Years, the art show has displayed a diverse group of vendors & businesses, as well as live demonstrations and delicious food. For more information, visit their website below!

Genesee Valley Hunt Races

Spend a day at the races! The Hunt Races have been hosted here for over 120 years, with some of the finest steeplechase trainers on the eastern seaboard bringing their horses to compete. Enjoy spectating one of the most anticipated meets of their season, along with tailgating, kids activities, craft drinks, & more ! The Races take place Saturday, October 14th.

Temple Hill Cemetery’s Spirit Walk

A historic moonlit stroll through historic Temple Hill Cemetery sounds like a spectacular fall evening, right? The Spirit Walk is coming up on its 10th year teaching about the people who shaped the early business community of Geneseo. Tour leaders will guide groups by lantern light to the various grave sites, where local actors will portray “spirits” who bring to life the history and anecdotes of these notable tradespeople. A great evening activity for community members of all ages! The evening of October 14th, tours will be available 6:00 PM - 7:45 PM. Suggested donations for the event are $5 per person or $20 per family with cash or checks only. Guests will finish the tour with cider and donuts!

 

Hoochenanny Whiskey Festival

Hoochenanny is coming to town! This inaugural Whiskey Festival is a celebration of NY craftsmanship pairing local culinary, craft whiskey, cocktails & music! The festival tagline “Cultivate the Uncommon,” reflects their commitment to celebrating the extraordinary and pushing boundaries with their immersive and educational experience. Hoochenanny provides an incredible environment to relax, and try local food and spirits. Presented by Iron Smoke Distillery, this one of a kind event is taking place October 21st & 22nd! Tickets range from a 2 day VIP Pass for Friday & Saturday, a VIP Pass for just Saturday, or General Admission Tickets for the Saturday portion of the festival.
