Maple Weekends- Letchworth State Park

A short drive from Geneseo leads you to the gem of Livingston County- Letchworth State Park! On Saturday, March 16, NYS Maple weekend will come to a head with a weekend full of maple activities, including pancake breakfasts and maple sugaring demonstrations! Cartwrights Maple Tree Inn

While located outside the county in Angelica NY, Cartwright’s is a must-have maple experience if you are coming to or from Geneseo. Open seasonally through April 7th, they offer fresh all you can eat buckwheat pancakes with syrup made in house. An experience for students or residents looking for a day trip outside of town!

Genesee County Village and Museum

The Maple Sugar Festival at the Genesee County Village and Museum is held for select dates in March. In addition to the maple breakfast option, the festival takes you back in time to showcase the history of maple sugaring with original techniques and tools early settlers used to collect sap. Located just outside of Livingston county, the museum and festival is a short drive from Geneseo.
